Chelsea are readying a new contract for forward Joao Pedro, according to reports.
Joao Pedro only joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion last summer in a deal worth in excess of £50 million.
The 24-year-old penned terms at Stamford Bridge until June 2033, however he is set to be rewarded with improved terms.
As revealed by The Athletic, Joao Pedro is considered not for sale by the club this summer amid interest from Barcelona, and the Brazilian is now in line for a new deal.
But in interesting news, Joao Pedro is suggested to be not the only player to get a new agreement in the coming weeks, ahead of the new season.
Moises Caicedo was handed a new deal until 2033 back in April. Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson were also rewarded with new deals after impressing in their first seasons at the club a couple of years ago.
Joao Pedro made an immediate impact last summer, playing an influential role in Chelsea's Club World Cup-winning campaign, before scoring 15 goals and racking up eight assists in 35 Premier League appearances.

Although Joao Pedro's future was never in question at Stamford Bridge, despite Chelsea's lack of European football this season, the club have ensured they've shown their faith in the Brazilian forward as they look to keep the core group of players for new manager Xabi Alonso to work with.
Joao Pedro is set to head into the season as Alonso's number one striker to lead the line, but there is an array of options at the Spaniard's disposal.
Chelsea currently have Liam Delap, Dastan Satpayev, who officially joins on August 12 when he turns 18, Marc Guiu, Emmanuel Emegha and Jackson on their books.
Guiu is expected to depart, while Delap and Jackson's futures are unclear amid interest from clubs in the Premier League.
Decisions still need to be made during pre-season over who stays and goes.
Delap is the subject of reported interest from Fulham, Everton and Nottingham Forest, while Aston Villa have shown interest in Jackson, having already signed Alejandro Garnacho on an initial loan deal from the Blues.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are finalising a move for Danny Welbeck from Brighton after agreeing a two-year deal with the 35-year-old.
It's a switch in strategy for the Blues as Alonso looks to bring experience into the side to give his team balance across the pitch in 26-27.
