According to a report from Foot Mercato, Chelsea have rejected a loan offer to sign Christopher Nkunku (27) from Bayern Munich. The Premier League club would prefer to sell the France international attacker on a permanent basis this summer.

Despite the Bundesliga champions’ first offer being rebuffed by the West London club, they could yet return with another offer to sign the 27-year-old. Nkunku has been told that he is no longer a part of Enzo Maresca’s plans at Stamford Bridge, and he is expected to leave before the end of the transfer window on Wednesday.

Several clubs interested in signing Nkunku

The Frenchman is attracting interest from several clubs over a potential transfer away from Chelsea. RB Leipzig, Aston Villa and AC Milan are also interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate. Foot Mercato understands that the latter have already agreed personal terms with the forward.
