According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have set an asking price of £75m if they are to sell Malo Gusto (23) during the summer transfer window. The French international defender is attracting interest from Manchester City.
Gusto’s former manager could be the driving force behind a potential move to their Mancunian divisional rivals. Former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is set to be appointed as the new Manchester City boss and could be hoping to arrange a reunion with the former Lyon defender.
No talks have yet been held between the two Premier League clubs over a potential move for the right-back. The Blues are not actively looking to sell the Frenchman despite agreeing a deal to sign Marco Pelestra from Atalanta, who also predominantly plays as a right-sided full back. He has cost the Stamford Bridge outfit €45m.
