Chelsea will turn down all approaches for Joao Pedro this summer, even if offers arrive in excess of £100m.

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Pedro, should the Spanish champions fail in their pursuit of Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez. Barcelona have submitted a proposal for Alvarez, though Atletico remain insistent that the Argentine is not for sale.

Pedro is appreciated in Catalonia and has been named as a potential alternative. However, Chelsea have no interest in discussing a sale and view Pedro as a key part of the project.

According toFabrizio Romano, Chelsea are content to reject offers of more than £100m, with the club's £117m record deal for Morgan Rogers having no impact on their stance.

Pedro signed for Chelsea from Brighton last summer and scored 23 goals in all competitions during an encouraging first season.

The 24-year-old was named as Chelsea's Player of the Season for 2025/26 and will form part of Xabi Alonso's attack next season, alongside Rogers and Cole Palmer.

Chelsea have no need to sell despite missing out on European football for next season. The Blues have already recouped around £120m from the sales of Marc Cucurella, Andrey Santos and Tyrique George, while negotiations are ongoing for Trevoh Chalobah and Alejandro Garnacho to depart.

Chelsea are also expected to sell Marc Guiu, Nicolas Jackson, and Liam Delap as part of their rebuild under Alonso this summer.Jackson is attracting interest from Aston Villa.

Meanwhile, the West Londoners have opened talks with Crystal Palace over a dealto sign central defender Maxence Lacroix. Palace value the France international in excess of £55m.
