Chelsea star ‘prioritising’ summer move to Barcelona | OneFootball

Chelsea star Marc Cucurella has set his sights firmly on a summer reunion with former employers Barcelona.

The Spanish international, though, is aware that he will require patience in the hopes of his dream Blaugrana move coming to fruition.

Barcelona are giving real consideration to bringing in fresh blood at left-back over the months ahead. Though the position is not currently a priority area of reinforcement, Deco and co. are open to offers for Alejandro Balde.

Should Balde be shipped out, the Blaugrana would then quickly set about securing a replacement whom they consider more suited to Hansi Flick’s all-action setup.

And as alluded to above, one such option has presented itself in the form of Marc Cucurella.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, the 27-year-old has already informed Chelsea of his intention to move on this summer. Not only that, but Cucurella has a clear priority landing spot in mind, in the form of Barcelona.

The Stamford Bridge brass are expected to demand a sum of €40-50 million for their star left-back.
