Estevao was already one of the things Chelsea fans were most excited about for this season.
Signed more than a year ago, the wonderkid is a thrilling presence on the pitch, and we’ve enjoyed his every minute so far.

His best moment so far was, of course, the winner against Liverpool last weekend. After a 15 minute cameo where he caused chaos, he slid in at the far post to put away Marc Cucurella’s cross and earn his team 3 points.
It was pandemonium at Stamford Bridge – but the fans there already loved their new star boy.
He’s now back in Brazil on national team duty, where he had some really interesting things to say about his development in his first few months with the Blues:
“At Chelsea, I often play on the right. Even in training, I’ve played in various attacking positions to broaden my repertoire and have more options,” he said in quotes picked up by TribalFootball.
“I played on the wing; in the last match, I moved into the middle and stayed in the centre. I’m open to different types of play, whatever is available, inside or outside. Here, I do what’s best for the Brazilian national team.”
With Cole Palmer out for a while, we might yet see a lot more central Estevao.
Enzo Maresca has introduced him slowly to first team action, to allow the teenager to adapt, but it sounds like he’s ahead of the curve on that already:
“My adjustment to England is going much faster than I expected,” the 18 year old said.
“It’s a different country, a different culture, very different things, but thank God I’m adapting as quickly as possible. I’m not 100% settled in yet, but it’s definitely more than I expected.”
