Blues pre-season plans are taking shape
The Blues’ schedule ahead of the 2026-27 campaign is beginning to take shape.
It had already been announced that they will meet London rivals Tottenham in the Sydney Super Cup at Accor Stadium on August 1, after facing Western Sydney Wanderers four days earlier.
The pre-season fixture will form part of the Hong Kong Football Festival and take place on August 5 at Kai Tak Stadium, with kick-off at 7.30pm local time (12.30pm UK time).
The Premier League season will begin two weekends later, and Chelsea’s first opponents will be confirmed when fixtures are released on June 19.
Chelsea will be returning to Hong Kong for the first time in 15 years, when they beat top-flight side Kitchee, as well as Aston Villa, in a Premier League Asia Cup tournament in 2011.
The most recent of Chelsea’s six Champions League meetings with Juve came in 2021, with the Blues running out emphatic 4-0 winners as Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner all scored.
Tickets for the match against Juventus will go on pre-sale on May 13 to eligible supporters, and the general sale will begin the following day.
