Here are the full team line-ups for Newcastle vs Chelsea (kick off at 17:30 GMT)

CHELSEA:

Chelsea’s starting XI to face Newcastle.

The most interesting part of this selection was always who was going to be in goal – and as we predicted, Liam Rosenior has turned back on his previous decision and put Robert Sanchez between the sticks again.

Fascinatingly, Filip Jorgensen isn’t even on the bench…

In defence, Wesley Fofana keeps his place despite starting in midweek, and he plays in a standard back 4 with Trevoh Chalobah, Malo Gusto and Marc Cucurella.

Gusto at right back means Reece James stays in midfield alongside Moises Caicedo. Enzo Fernandez is ahead of them.

The attacking line picks itself with Pedro Neto injured and several other wingers injured. That means Cole Palmer one side, Alejandro Garnacho the other and Joao Pedro leading the line.

It’s as close to a full strength side as Rosenior can muster. Clearly the priority is on winning this game and not on worrying about overturning the 5-2 deficit in the PSG game. That’s the right approach.
