Sevilla’s Loïc Badé has been turning heads with his strong performances, especially after making a mark for France at the Summer Olympics and for the Spanish club.

With Milan Skriniar now at Fenerbahçe, Paris Saint-Germain could be in the market for a new center-back this summer as they’re expected to part ways with the veteran for good.

Badé’s rise hasn’t gone unnoticed. French national team coach Didier Deschamps called him up for the October international break, a clear sign of his growing reputation.

A previous report from SPORT revealed that Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and PSG showed interest in the defender last fall.

Now, Spanish outlet Diario AS has added Liverpool to the mix, claiming the Premier League club views him as a potential successor to Virgil van Dijk. Scouts from Liverpool were even spotted watching Sevilla’s match against Barcelona at Montjuïc last October.

Fichajes reports that Chelsea are looking to bolster their defense ahead of the summer transfer window and have identified Loïc Badé as a key target.

The London club are reportedly preparing a €30 million offer to persuade Sevilla to part with the French center-back.

Along with Badé, Chelsea are also monitoring other defensive options, including Jules Koundé and Marc Guéhi, though signing them could come at a higher price.
