Tottenham Hotspur grabbed a late winner at basement side Crystal Palace, who had fought back from two down. Beth England bagged a brace of headers in the first quarter of the match, the assists coming from an Ashleigh Neville cross and Maite Oroz corner. Palace wiped out Tottenham’s lead as Katie Stengel netted from a Molly-Mae Sharp cross before setting up Ashleigh Weerden to level. But five minutes into added time, Olivia Holdt dramatically won it for Spurs with a free kick into top corner.

Leicester City came from behind to beat Liverpool and put four points between themselves and the relegation place. Olivia Smith scored just three minutes in for the Reds but the Foxes turned it round by the break. Janice Cayman levelled from Sophie Howard’s headed pass and Missy Goodwin found net when assisted by Sam Tierney.

West Ham defeated Everton to leapfrog them and rise two places to eighth. Everton’s Katja Snoeijs could only head onto the bar with the goal gaping, the Hammers in front in the tenth minute with a Shekiera Martinez header via Viviane Asseyi’s corner. Seraina Piubel won a penalty when fouled in the box by Sara Holmgaard, Asseyi converting convincingly.
