Chelsea take on Real Betis in the Europa Conference League final this evening.
Enzo Maresca has the chance to end his first season with silverware, as the Blues take on the Spanish side in Poland. After securing Champions League qualification, securing a European trophy would end an encouraging season on a high for Chelsea.
The West Londoners are bidding to become the first team to have won each of UEFA’s current club competitions, after previous successes in the Champions League and Europa League.
Real Betis are aiming to win their first-ever European trophy. Manuel Pellegrini’s side can also become Spain’s first winners of the Conference League.
Nicolas Jackson is available for selection having missed the Premier League run-in through suspension. The Senegalese striker’s return is well-timed given Christopher Nkunku is yet to return from injury. However, the latter has trained ahead of the final.
Romeo Lavia is ineligible for the clash having been left out of the European squad to manage his minutes. Kieran Dewsbury-Hall will hope to come in, having been a key part of the club’s route to the final.
Wesley Fofana remains out for Chelsea and is joined by Aaron Anselmino, Omari Kellyman and the suspended Mykhailo Mudryk.
Chelsea predicted XI: Jorgensen; James, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson.
Real Betis face Chelsea in the Europa Conference League final on Wednesday May 28th 2025. Kick-off at Stadion Wrocław in Wroclaw, Poland is 8pm BST.
The game will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK.
