Cherki Gets 8, Khusanov With 7.5 | Manchester City Players Rated In Hard-Fought Win Vs Arsenal | OneFootball

Manchester City welcomed Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 16th minute when Rayan Cherki found the back of the net. However, Kai Havertz equalised for the Gunners just a couple of minutes later as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Erling Haaland scored the winning goal for Pep Guardiola’s side in the 65th minute as Man City secured a hard-fought 2-1 win at the Etihad.

He made one good save at the back and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.

He cleared his lines when needed and earned the ball back a few times for his team.

Guehi gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7.5/10

He caught the eye at times on both ends of the field.

CM: Rodri – 7/10

Rodri offered solid protection for his teammates at the back and won a lot of important aerial duels.

CM: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10

He caught the eye at times on both halves.

RW: Antoine Semenyo – 6.5/10

Semenyo put in a good shift on the right flank, but there was no goal for him.

CAM: Rayan Cherki – 8/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score the opener with a good finish in the 16th minute.

LW: Jeremy Doku – 7/10

Doku caused a lot of problems for his marker but failed to find the back of the net.

ST: Erling Haaland – 7.5/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and scored the winning goal with a good strike in the 65th minute.
