Rangers beat Falkirk 5-2 at Falkirk Stadium as Youssef Chermiti hit a hat-trick to end a four-match league losing run and clinch third place.
In the second minute, Youssef Chermiti latched on to Mikey Moore's through ball and slotted home. He then thumped in from distance (6.). A Jack Butland own goal gave The Bairns a lifeline (7.).
Djeidi Gassama restored the cushion from Chermiti's cross (27.). Nicky Hogarth saved Thelo Aasgaard's close-range header (32.). Rangers then lost Nasser Djiga to injury, with Max Aarons introduced (35.).
A handball by Connor Barron resulted in a penalty (41.). VAR confirmed the spot kick (42.). Calvin Miller converted low into the corner (44.).
After the restart, Tuur Rommens picked out Chermiti, who glanced in for his treble (47.).
Lewis Neilson fouled Chermiti to concede another penalty (77.). Thelo Aasgaard rifled in from the spot (79.).
The Bairns saw more of the ball at 55.2% possession but fashioned only eight attempts. Rangers registered 15 efforts, seven on target.
The Bairns finish sixth.
