Remina Chiba has signed for Juventus.
The 27-year-old has signed a contract with the club through June 30, 2028, and these were her first thoughts on joining the Bianconere: “My first impressions are really great. I chose Juventus because it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I want to grow and improve as a player right here. On a personal level, I want to help the team by scoring goals and making an impact with assists, while as a group, we have only one goal: to win titles.”
“Being the first Japanese player in the history of Juventus Women is a source of great pride and joy for me. I really hope that many people in Japan will start cheering for and supporting the team.”
“My first few years in Europe weren’t easy, but they taught me a great deal. Compared to Japan, soccer here is faster and much more physical. I hope to learn even more from my experience in Italy and become a better player. As for my role, it’s hard to pick a favourite. I enjoy playing in any position on the attack. My goal is to score from anywhere on the pitch, and I’ll always be ready to play wherever the team needs me most.”
