Chivas Femenil fought until the very end, but couldn’t secure a spot in the next round after a 2-0 loss to Pachuca in the second leg of the Clausura 2026 Quarterfinals, resulting in a 3-2 aggregate score.
The Rebaño was unable to hold on to the advantage from the first leg on an unpredictable pitch, due to the rain that fell at Estadio Hidalgo prior to kickoff. This turned the match into one filled with constant changes in possession.
After Pachuca’s opening goal, Guadalajara pushed forward in search of the equalizer, creating chances while leaving spaces at the back; however, a counterattack allowed the home side to seal the result.
Chivas Femenil will now begin preparations for the Apertura 2026, aiming to improve on this semester’s performance and remain a contender in Liga MX Femenil.
