This Sunday marks the first third of the Clausura 2026, a stage in which Chivas Femenil has made a strong statement to remain among the top teams in the pink circuit. Antonio Contreras’ side has collected 13 points so far, and goal difference keeps them inside the top four of the standings.
The Rojiblancas’ strong start is no coincidence. It is built on the solid foundations of a sporting project that has clearly demonstrated tactical discipline both on and off the ball, turning Guadalajara into one of the most uncomfortable defenses for its opponents. Of course, this is just one of the reasons why Chivas has gone unbeaten through its first five matches of the Liga MX Femenil—a streak the club has achieved on several occasions.
This marks the tenth time the Rebaño Sagrado has come through that stretch without defeat, with a very interesting constant: in eight of those instances, it did so with four wins and one draw. The statistic becomes even more relevant when considering the defensive aspect, as in four of the ten tournaments in which this mark was achieved, Chivas conceded just one goal—just like in this CL26.
This Sunday against León, the Rojiblancas can close out the first third of the season without tasting defeat. Doing so would not only provide momentum heading into the rest of the Clausura 2026, but also reinforce their status as one of the strongest contenders in the Liga MX Femenil.
