Chivas Femenil showed the strength of their squad this midday in the Angelópolis, coming from behind to defeat Puebla 1-3 in Matchday 5 of the Clausura 2026. Antonio Contreras’ team reached 13 points, keeping them near the top of the standings.

Guadalajara handled well the defensive block set by La Franja in the first half, as despite controlling the game and being the team with the clearest chances in the box, they conceded their first goal of the semester. From that moment on, and against a rival that gradually dropped deeper into its own half, Las Rojiblancas kept pushing until they found the equalizer before halftime.

The second half was a tapatío showcase, with clear and constant attacks from the Rebaño on Gutiérrez’s goal, who had to work hard to prevent the final score from being wider. Jasmine Casarez had a standout performance in the victory, providing assists to both Carolina Jaramillo and Alicia Cervantes on the goals that sealed the Rojiblanco win.

Still unbeaten after the first five matchdays, Chivas Femenil will look to extend their streak next Sunday, February 1, when they host León on Matchday 6 of the CL26 at Estadio AKRON.
