With intensity and persistence, Chivas Femenil turned around what seemed like a very unfair night to rescue a crucial point in their visit to FC Juárez Femenil, drawing 1-1. The team led by Antonio Contreras reached 33 points and remains within striking distance of the fourth spot in the standings.
Guadalajara’s approach was to press high and force mistakes in the opponent’s buildup, which increasingly worked in their favor as the match progressed. The visitors created the clearest chances, but strong defensive coverage from the home side kept the game scoreless before halftime.
In the second half, a lapse in high pressing allowed Bravas to take the lead, forcing the visitors to push even harder. After hitting the post three times, the equalizer finally came thanks to their relentless effort.
Chivas Femenil will close the CL26 at home, hosting Toluca on Matchday 17 as they aim to break into the top spots of the table on Friday, April 24 at 7:00 PM.
