Chivas Femenil Wraps Up the Rojiblanca Preseason with a Win over Necaxa | OneFootball

After 10 demanding days of work during the Rojiblanca Preseason, Chivas Femenil finished its training camp on a high note. Guadalajara defeated Necaxa 2-1 at La Loma Sports Complex in Querétaro, declaring itself ready for the start of the Apertura 2026 Liga MX Femenil campaign.

During the opening half, the Rojiblancas put into practice the concepts they had worked on throughout the week, creating attacking opportunities through fluid combinations between midfield and the front line. Despite their positive play, a mistake while building out from the back allowed Necaxa to take the lead in the 26th minute. Even so, Chivas remained committed to its attacking philosophy.

After the break, and following several substitutions, Chivas Femenil looked much more dangerous in the attacking third. Their persistence paid off when Carolina Jaramillo was fouled inside the penalty area, allowing Adriana Iturbide to level the match from the penalty spot in the 71st minute.

Antonio Contreras' side continued to dominate possession, pinning the Centellas deep inside their own half. The winning goal arrived in the 86th minute, when a perfectly timed through ball split the Necaxa defense. Natalia Villarreal picked out Jasmine Casarez, who beat the offside trap and calmly slotted her finish into the far corner beyond the goalkeeper.

The Rojiblancas will now return to Guadalajara to begin preparations for Matchday 1 of the Apertura 2026, when they host Querétaro on Sunday, August 2, at 5:06 PM at Estadio AKRON.
