Guadalajara belongs to Guadalajara, and it was proven once again this weekend. Matchday 14 of the Clausura 2026 delivered another edition of the oldest rivalry in Mexican soccer across three youth categories, with a clear outcome: the Rojiblanca Academy imposed its authority in the Clásico Tapatío.
For Chivas fans, beating their fiercest city rival is always a source of pride, so here’s how each of the Rebaño’s teams performed.
Women’s U-19
A resounding thrashing took place at Sports Arena, where the Rojiblancas crushed Atlas 5-2. Although the Nextipac side entered as league leaders, Chivas showed character to secure all three points.
Guadalajara’s goals were scored by Natalia Pérez, Hilary Delgado, Yessenia Guzmán, Farah Talamás, and Valeria Medina, sealing a dominant performance.
U-17
The league leaders lived up to their status and defeated Atlas 3-2 at the Gigantera facilities. The team coached by Alberto Ascencio is unstoppable, reaching 29 points in the tournament—the only team in the league to achieve that mark.
Aarón Correa opened the scoring for Chivas, and after the visitors equalized, Joseph González and Edgar Vargas sealed the win in the second half, despite a late reaction from the opposition.
U-15
The Rebaño played to a scoreless draw against the Nextipac side, earning an important point that keeps them in the hunt for qualification. The team coached by Alexis Coyote is just one point away from fourth place in their group and also has a game in hand.
