Chris Davies says Jude Bellingham is Birmingham’s prodigal son | OneFootball

Birmingham City drew 2-2 with Barcelona in a friendly on Saturday, after which manager Chris Davies praised Jude Bellingham.

According to L'Équipe, the Real Madrid and England midfielder visited to support his boyhood club during his post-World Cup break.

Davies said it was a pleasure to see him and described Bellingham as the ideal footballer.

He also portrayed the midfielder as the city’s prodigal son.

Asked about the visit, the Birmingham manager did not hide his delight at having the former academy product back around the club.
