Christiane Endler given five stitches after collision in OL Lyonnes win over OM | OneFootball

Christiane Endler required five stitches to the left eyelid after a collision with a Marseille player during OL Lyonnes' 5-1 Coupe de France last-16 win on Saturday.

The clash came shortly after Marie-Antoinette Katoto had opened the scoring. Endler later posted images of the cut and the treatment on Instagram, saying she was fine.

Medical staff were on for several minutes and wrapped her head in a large bandage.

Teagan Micah, her regular understudy, replaced her and later conceded her first goal for Lyon.

Lyon visit PSG next week.
