Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis will be in London tomorrow as he closes in on joining Arsenal, according to Dimitris Manakos.
The Gunners have reached an agreement to bring the 24-year-old winger to the Emirates Stadium club for €40 million.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has identified Tzolis as the replacement for Leandro Trossard at the North London club.
The Greece international could be announced as an Arsenal player on Wednesday.
Tzolis is expected to become the Gunners’ second arrival of the summer transfer window following the earlier signing of French goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
They have signed Piero Hincapie in a permanent deal from Bayer Leverkusen for £34.5m as planned following his loan spell last term.
Arsenal are also looking for a new centre-back, with France international William Saliba likely to be unavailable for the next five months.
Former Manchester City defender John Stones is reportedly being eyed as a short-term cover for the Frenchman.
The England international is a free agent after leaving the Sky Blues in the summer, and Arteta is eyeing a potential reunion.
The Gunners have missed out on Morgan Rogers, with the Aston Villa forward currently undergoing a medical ahead of joining Chelsea.
They are still expected to look to sign another attacker even after Tzolis joins.
Arteta will hope to have a squad capable of winning the Champions League and Premier League again next term at the conclusion of the summer transfer window.
