City pair help England Under-23s to draw with Portugal | OneFootball

Naomi Layzell and Gracie Pryor featured for England’s Under-23s in their 1-1 draw with Portugal.

In their second match of the women’s international break, the young Lionesses were held in the Women’s Under-23 European competition.

Portugal were ahead inside eight minutes at Northampton’s Sixfields Stadium through Nadia Bravo.

Sunderland’s Keira Barry equalised 10 minutes into the second half as England drew following their 5-0 defeat to Germany last week.

The senior team are in action on Tuesday night against Australia at Pride Park with kick off at 19:00 (UK).
