City quartet selected for England duty | OneFootball

Four Manchester City players have been selected by England for October’s international break.

Alex Greenwood, Grace Clinton, Khiara Keating and Laura Blindkilde Brown have all been included in the Lionesses’ 25-player squad for their upcoming friendlies with Brazil and Australia.

As part of the ‘Homecoming Series’ Sarina Wiegman’s side will lock horns with the South American nation and reigning Copa America champions at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 25 October, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30 (UK).

To conclude the pause in domestic action, England will then host Australia at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium on Tuesday 28 October at 19:00 (UK).

The Lionesses’ double header will be the first time they have played since beating Spain in the 2025 European Championship final to retain the major trophy.

Greenwood, Clinton and Keating were members of the squad who retained their European crown alongside fellow City player Lauren Hemp.

Blindkilde Brown, meanwhile, was on the standby list for the major tournament in Switzerland and has enjoyed a fantastic start to the 2025/26 campaign.

So far she's played seven matches in all competitions and her performances earned her September's Etihad Player of the Month award.
