Claims Bayern ‘working on’ long-term Lennart Karl deal contradicted | OneFootball

Kicker reports that Bayern are not currently working on a new long-term contract for Lennart Karl, contradicting recent claims.

Sport Bild had said the champions were pursuing an extension running to 2031.

The report indicates Karl is focusing on maintaining his performances rather than entering negotiations.

His existing terms are widely expected to convert into a professional deal until 2029 when he turns 18 next month.

With that three-year extension already lined up, a further long-term agreement is not viewed as urgent. Most recently, Karl started in Bayern’s 8-1 demolition of Wolfsburg on Sunday.
