Clément Turpin and François Letexier have been selected as referees for the 2026 World Cup, which runs from 11 June to 19 July in the United States, Mexico and Canada. According to L'Équipe, the French pair are among the officials chosen for the tournament.

Turpin, 43, will work his third World Cup, joining Joël Quiniou as the only French referees to take charge at three editions. Quiniou officiated in 1986, 1990 and 1994.

Letexier, who refereed the Euro final Spain won 2-1 against England, is set for his first World Cup.

France is one of six nations with two referees. England have Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor, Brazil Raphael Claus and Wilton Sampaio, Argentina Yael Falcon Pérez and Facundo Tello, the United States Ismail Elfath and Tori Penso, and Mexico César Ramos and Katia Garcia.

France will also be represented by Jérôme Brisard as VAR, with assistants Nicolas Danos, Benjamin Pagès, Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni selected.
