Clinical Kerolin shines for Brazil

Kerolin found the net and provided two assists in Brazil's 5-1 victory over Korea Republic, with seven City stars in action across the evening.
The winger came on at half-time and changed the game after the interval, providing assists for Brazil’s second and third strikes after Ary Borges had given them the lead after 42 minutes.
She got in on the scoring act just after the hour to make it four, with Taina Maranhao adding a fifth, before Park Soo-Jeong grabbed a late consolation in the 87th minute.
Elsewhere, Sam Coffey, Ayaka Yamashita, Yui Hasegawa and Aoba Fujino were all in action as the United States beat Japan 2-1.
Risa Shimizu also came on as a late substitute, but couldn’t prevent the USA extending their winning run to 10 matches.
Emma Hayes’ side got off to a quick start with a goal in the eighth minute after they earned a free-kick in Japan’s half, with Coffey’s long ball nodded into the path of former City midfielder Rose Lavelle for the opener.
After squandering a few missed chances, the USA opened the second half with another goal, this time scored by Lindsey Heaps, with Riko Ueki’s strike for Japan just after the hour proving a mere consolation.
Jade Rose was also in action for Canada as she came on as a 78th minute substitute for in their 4-0 win over Zambia.
A first half brace from Nichelle Prince was followed by a second half double from Anabelle Chukwu, which led the Canadians to victory at the Arena Pantanal.
