MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continues with Club América hosting Philadelphia Union in the Second Leg of their Round of 16 series on Wednesday at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico.

Club América enters the match leading the series after its 1-nil win in the first leg. A strike from Raphael Veiga was enough to power Las Águilas to victory. The goal saw Veiga become the seventh Brazilian player to score for Club América in the Champions Cup.

One of the two winningest clubs in tournament history with seven titles, Club América is making its eighth appearance in the Round of 16 and has advanced in six of its seven previous appearances.

Philadelphia Union is featuring in the Round of 16 for the fourth time and is in search of advancing past the stage for the third time.

The winner of the series on aggregate will advance to the Quarterfinals. Away goals serve as the primary tiebreaker. If necessary, extra time and a penalty shootout will decide the winner.
