Clubs ‘ready to pay up to’ €15million for Mathis Albert | OneFootball

Sport Bild reports that many clubs are pursuing Mathis Albert, who is breaking through at Borussia Dortmund, and that top clubs are prepared to pay up to €15million. It seems Dortmund are not considering a sale.

The American 17-year-old has impressed in pre-season, including the 2-1 defeat to Fortuna Düsseldorf last Saturday. At the Merkur Spiel Arena he scored Dortmund’s only goal and was heavily involved.

Albert is currently part of Niko Kovač’s squad for their tour of Japan.

The report did not specify which clubs are interested.

Given his potential, Albert could command a significantly higher fee for Dortmund in future if circumstances change.
