Cole Palmer's celebration now officially trademarked

Cole Palmer, 23, has now officially trademarked his iconic celebration. After registering his “Cold Palmer” brand in October, the Chelsea midfielder has received the official go-ahead from the UK Intellectual Property Office to protect his celebration.

From now on, no one else can use it for commercial purposes. Palmer explains that while the gesture was inspired by his friend Morgan Rogers in 2023, it is now exclusively associated with him. “It symbolizes my joy and determination, and it’s a play on words with my name,” he shares. The player has also filed an application to protect the logo of the celebration, which features his name and initials “CP.”
