Collectif Ultras Paris has urged authorities to allow Marseille supporters at the Parc des Princes for PSG v OM on eight February, criticising a security model based on bans rather than organisation. The group said in a statement on Saturday.
The CUP addressed the LFP, the FFF, the Paris police prefecture and both clubs, and noted that Paris supporters were themselves barred from travelling for the reverse fixture at the Vélodrome on 22 September. It argued the Classique should again be a popular, lively and supervised occasion, not a symbol of retreat, and said this entrenched situation should end.
The collective defended the freedom to support one’s club and said France is isolated in Europe, where high-risk matches are played with away fans in controlled settings. It favoured reciprocity for away trips and urged a return to dialogue.
It also warned that if stadiums are left empty, the alarm will come too late.
Since the start of 2026, French prefectures have issued 42 orders banning away supporters from travelling.
