Four months after his serious injury, Jamal Musiala is returning to the pitch step by step. Now the attacking player has made another important step forward.
The 22-year-old completed ball exercises again for the first time on Monday – an important step in his rehab after breaking his left fibula. According to BILD, his individual programme now also includes technical units, after previously only running and stabilization exercises were on the agenda. The fact that Musiala has reached this milestone is seen in Munich as a clear signal that his recovery is continuing to progress smoothly.
It had already become apparent in recent weeks that the international is on schedule. According to information from BILD, the hope remains internally that he will be back on the pitch with the team before the end of the year. However, there are no specific dates – a return to team training could also be delayed until January.

Musiala was still a spectator at the Champions League match against Paris. Four months earlier, he had been injured in the Club World Cup match against the same opponent – after a collision with Gianluigi Donnarumma. Head of Sport Max Eberl was cautiously optimistic: „He’s already doing very well. The end is in sight.“
FC Bayern is focusing on a cautious build-up for its top performer. Even if there is still hope of a comeback before the turn of the year, the club does not want to take any risks. The aim is for Musiala to be back at 100 per cent in the decisive phase from March.
The player himself does not want to rush things either. „I really want to be at 100 per cent when I return,“ Musiala emphasised in a recent interview with the club. There is no pressure in Munich, especially because the team is currently stable. At the moment, it seems most likely that Musiala will train fully with the team again for the first time in the winter training camp.
