Conceicao: We know we’re good enough to achieve our goals | OneFootball

The Juventus Men’s First Team are on the road this weekend for Serie A Matchday 29, taking on Udinese in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Kick-off is fixed for Saturday, 14 March, at 20:45 CET.

Ahead of the trip across Northern Italy, Francisco Conceicao attended the usual pre-match press conference. Below is what he had to say.

“We’re a united group, we’ve shown that a number of times and this is a good starting point when you’re trying to win games. During the week, we work on everything during the week, we all know that we need to improve to make the overall better, and we’re focusing on the details the coach tells us. The boss has brought a lot to us, and you can see that we’re a happy group. We look to have the ball, and we create a lot. We have to keep working to get good results. We play good football, but we’ve a lot of untapped potential still, we can do better because we have a lot of good players. 

“In the games we have left, we need to pick up points in order to achieve our goals. If you play for Juventus you have to accept that criticism is part of the job. It’s important to find balance both in the good times and the tougher times. I always look to help the team, and not just with goals and assists.

“Udinese are a good team, and even more so when they’re at home. They’re physical, have good forwards, and are tough to face. But we’ll go there to win and to continue going in search of Champions League qualification. We know we have the quality to do it.”
