West Ham are growing in confidence in signing Aston Villa star Jacob Ramsey this summer.

It has been reported by club insider ExWHUEmployee on The West Ham Way that there was a growing belief in signing the player.

We can now confirm that is the case, with a real expectation at present that a deal could be struck to land the 24 year old.

The club are understandably being linked with a number of players this transfer window, particularly in the midfield department, with West Ham already having previously been linked to Ramsey.

Despite this initially being a player of loose interest, it appears there is now a growing confidence that he could well be swayed into switching Villa for east London.

Being just 24 years of age and an established Premier League midfielder, its felt Ramsey could well be the perfect addition to Graham Potter‘s West Ham midfield this season.

At this stage talks are ongoing, but West Ham are now in the belief that a deal can be struck in the soon to sign the player. At this stage the figures are not yet known, however there is a reasonable expectation that the player could well be set for a move of around £25-30m.
