The Premier League fixtures were confirmed on Friday morning, with Arsenal sharing the fixtures on their website at 10am BST.
The Gunners will kick off their defence of the Premier League title with a game against Coventry City at home on August 21st, which also means Arsenal’s game will be the very first of the new season.
Arsenal’s first away game will then be against Aston Villa the following weekend, before Mikel Arteta’s side face their first big-six opponent in Chelsea at home on September 5th.

There’s a big week at the end of January, with Arsenal facing Manchester City away on January 30th, then Liverpool at home on February 6th. The North London derbies are on December 5th (away), and May 1st (home).
Arsenal will conclude the season at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on May 30th, so if the Gunners can manage to defend their league title, they’ll lift the trophy at the Emirates Stadium this time.
At this stage, only the Coventry City home game is confirmed for TV coverage, meaning the exact date of all other games can still change.
The calendar defaults to Saturday matches at the weekend or Wednesday matches in midweek, but once the TV selections are made, some of these games will be on Sunday, Tuesday, and so on.
