Manchester City can cut the gap to Premier League leaders Arsenal to two points again with victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal left it late to claim all three points over Wolves on Saturday evening as Yerson Mosquera’s 90+4th minute own goal helped the Gunners return to winning ways in the Premier League after they fell to a similar injury-time defeat at Villa Park last week.

The Gunners are the favourites to win their first Premier League title since 2004 after setting the tone early in the title race, though Manchester City can bank on their wealth of title race experience to remain within touching distance of the Gunners as the season progresses.

The jury remains out on whether City can sustain a title challenge against an Arsenal side showing very few frailties, with the former being at a nascent stage of their transition under sporting director Hugo Viana in the backdrop of a sliding doors transfer window that witnessed major changes made to Guardiola’s squad.

City have won their last three Premier League games to keep up the pressure on Mikel Arteta’s men, most recently seeing off Sunderland in a 3-0 win at the Etihad Stadium, with Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol and Phil Foden on the scoresheet.

Guardiola’s side earned their biggest win of 2025 in midweek as they came from behind to secure a monumental 2-1 triumph over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu – taking a huge step towards qualification for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 stage.

Kolo Toure was tasked with pre-match media duties on Friday afternoon, with Guardiola tending to a personal matter, and the Ivorian, who joined Manchester City’s coaching staff in the summer, confirmed that Rodri will remain out for the Blues in south London, with John Stones also recovering from what is believed to be a thigh injury.

Ahead of Sunday’s 14:00 UK kick-off between Crystal Palace and Manchester City at Selhurst Park, here are the confirmed line-ups from both dressing rooms.
