Although it’s crucial to wrap up the title at home, Kompany opted for several changes with the midweek cup clash against Bayer Leverkusen on his mind. 

Serge Gnabry joined Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof on Bayern’s absentees list with injuries. Harry Kane and Michael Olise start on the bench after their midweek heroics in the Champions League, while Jonas Urbig will start between the sticks.

Violent riots by the traveling Stuttgart fans caused unrest and damage as their Bayern ultras confronted them, according to Bild. Several hundred officers were deployed to bring the situation under control.
