Confirmed: Real Madrid register fourth summer signing in La Liga | OneFootball

Real Madrid have managed to successfully register their fourth summer signing, Bernardo Silva, in La Liga for the 2026/27 season.

The Merengues had already completed the registrations of three of their five new signings, with Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, and Marc Cucurella already being enrolled.

Now, Bernardo Silva’s registration is also complete, leaving Carlos Espi as the only summer arrival being left to be enrolled in La Liga.

Bernardo – a free transfer signing

Real Madrid signed Bernardo as a free agent after his contract with Manchester City expired at the end of the last season.

The Portuguese playmaker was a personal request from new manager Jose Mourinho, who wanted his compatriot in the squad to add more experience and creativity in attack.

Silva was also courting interest from Real Madrid’s arch-rivals FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, but opted to sign for Los Blancos.

Having arrived at Valdebebas earlier today to get started with pre-season, the former Manchester City ace will be aiming to make an impact from the get-go.

Following a dismal World Cup campaign with Portugal, where he lost his place in the team and barely made a difference, Silva will be extra-motivated to prove himself at Real Madrid.
