James Forrest is a One Club Man

As the players celebrated yet another title triumph yesterday, one man had extra reason to celebrate, and that would be the record breaking one club man James Forrest.

James is now the most decorated player in the clubs history with an astonishing 26 honours after yesterday’s title win saw him overtake the legendary Bobby Lennox’s haul of 25.

Bobby Lennox held the record until December 2024

James has every right to feel proud and delighted of such a terrific achievement. Whilst he might not be in the same league in terms of ability compared to the likes of Bobby Lennox, he still has the right to feel proud of holding such a prestigious honour.

He’s seen and done it all since making his debut 15 years ago and will rightly be remembered as a legendary figure in the history of Celtic football club when he finally decides to call it a day. Paul McStay scored for Celtic is 15 consecutive seasons, Jamesy is looking for a goal to equal that – HE MUST TAKE ANY PENALTIES!

James has received his fair share of criticism during his time at the club, but even those hardest critics will undoubtedly agree that James has earned his place in Celtic folklore.
