Copa do Brasil 2026: Vasco reach last 16 and secure extra R$ 3 million | OneFootball

Vasco have advanced to the Copa do Brasil 2026 last 16, securing a further R$ 3 million in prize money.

According to Globo.com, the CBF pays clubs per round in the national tournament. Having entered directly in the fifth phase, Vasco had already received R$ 2 million, taking their total to R$ 5 million with this progression.

The Rio side knocked out Paysandu with a 2-2 draw at São Januário on Wednesday night, after winning the first leg 2-0.

Now among the last 16, Vasco will await the CBF draw to learn their next opponents.

The round of 16 ties are scheduled for August, after the World Cup.
