Copa do Brasil quarter-final draw scheduled for 11 August in Rio | OneFootball

The Brazilian Football Confederation announced on Wednesday that the Copa do Brasil quarter-final draw will take place on Tuesday 11 August at 11:00 at its Rio de Janeiro headquarters.

The event will set the route for the eight remaining teams, confirm home advantage for each tie and lock in the semi-final bracket.

Atlético-MG and Santos were the first clubs through, both winning 1-0 away on Tuesday night, against Juventude at Alfredo Jaconi and Remo at Mangueirão respectively.

Quarter-final matches are expected on 26 August and 3 September.

Ties will follow the bracket defined in the previous draw, with the order of home and away decided by draw. First and second legs are slated for 1 and 8 November.

The final will be a single match for the first time, at a venue still to be confirmed. Under competition regulations, the federation must announce the stadium at least 30 days in advance. The provisional date is 6 December.

Prize money is set at R$ 3 million for the round of 16, R$ 4 million for the quarter-finals, R$ 9 million for the semi-finals, R$ 34 million for the runner-up and R$ 78 million for the winners.
