Copa Sudamericana round two standings, San Lorenzo lead Santos’ group | OneFootball

San Lorenzo moved top of Santos’ Copa Sudamericana group with a 2-0 home win over Deportivo Cuenca as the competition’s second round concluded on Thursday night.

Santos drew 1-1 with Recoleta at Vila Belmiro on Tuesday and sit bottom with one point. Deportivo Cuenca, who beat Santos in the opener, are second with three, Recoleta have two and San Lorenzo have four.

Next, Santos visit San Lorenzo at the Nuevo Gasómetro in Buenos Aires on 28 April at 19:00. On the same day Recoleta host Deportivo Cuenca.

Only group winners progress directly to the last 16. Runners-up enter a play-off against one of the third-placed teams dropping from the Copa Libertadores groups.

Only two clubs still boast a 100% record, São Paulo and Uruguay’s Montevideo City Torque. Elsewhere, Atlético-MG are third in Group B with three points, Botafogo lead Group E with four, Grêmio are second in Group F with three, Vasco prop up Group G with one and Red Bull Bragantino sit third in Group H with three.
