Corberán has all outfield players available for Valencia v Celta | OneFootball

Carlos Corberán will have every outfield player available for Valencia’s home game against Celta de Vigo on Sunday.

According to Superdeporte, he confirmed the clean bill of health in Saturday’s press conference at the media centre in Paterna.

Filip Ugrinic is in the squad despite two weeks of patellar tendon discomfort, and captain José Luis Gayà is available while wearing a protective mask after a blow to his left cheekbone against Sevilla at the Pizjuán.

Ugrinic is set to start on the bench, and Gayà could be in the starting line-up despite the mask. Despite medical advice, it would not be the first time Gayà has played without one, having done so years ago after a nasal fracture.

Corberán said all outfielders are available except Julen, and they expect him back before the season ends. He confirmed Julen Agirrezabala will return in time for the run-in, albeit without match sharpness, with Stole Dimitrievski currently established as Valencia’s first-choice goalkeeper.
