Corinthians confirm line-up for Internacional tie as Bidu and Gui Negão return | OneFootball

Corinthians have named their side for Sunday’s Copa do Brasil last-16 opener against Internacional at Estádio Beira-Rio, Porto Alegre, with kick-off at 19:30.

According to Meu Timao, Fernando Diniz starts Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Raniele, André Luiz, Breno Bidon, Kaio César, Rodrigo Garro and Gui Negão.

Paulo Pezzolano’s Internacional begin with Matheus Cunha, Bruno Gomes, Gabriel Mercado, Maripán, Matheus Bahia, Villagra, Bruno Henrique, Alan Patrick, Vitinho, Bernabei and Carbonero.

Matheus Bidu returns after pubis pain kept him out of Corinthians’ last two matches. The game also brings Gui Negão back to the XI, his first outing since 22 March, a 1-1 draw with Flamengo in Itaquera.

Diniz has 12 substitutes available: Kauê, André Ramalho, João Pedro, Fabrizio Angileri, Pedro Milans, André Carrillo, Allan, Charles, Dieguinho, Matheus Pereira, Jesse Lingard and Pedro Raul.

Seven players are unavailable, six through fitness issues. Hugo Farias is in physical transition, Alex Santana is managing a physical problem, Vitinho and Kayke continue knee surgery recoveries, Yuri Alberto has a right thigh muscle injury, and Zakaria Labyad has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Memphis Depay is not in the medical group, he remains in talks over a contract extension and will return to Parque São Jorge only once it is agreed.
