Corinthians debut new sponsor in friendly with FC Cascavel | OneFootball

Corinthians face FC Cascavel on Sunday afternoon at Estádio Olímpico Regional in Paraná, a friendly that debuts Fatal Fans as a club sponsor. The content marketplace will appear on the men's shorts, on the left thigh.

According to Meu Timao, the deal runs to December 2027 with provision to extend to 2028, worth R$ 22 million and covering men's and women's football plus basketball and futsal. A trigger could add R$ 9 million, taking the total to R$ 31 million if renewed.

The brand first featured last Friday, when Corinthians beat Minas 3-1 at Ginásio Wlamir Marques in the 12th round of the Liga Nacional de Futsal. In futsal it sits on the shirt's front bar. In basketball it will be on the back, with a debut expected in August when the team begin the Campeonato Paulista.

Futsal and basketball had faced the risk of discontinuation due to cost-cutting by the board led by president Osmar Stabile. The new agreement boosts funding for both.

The women's team will not display the company. That space will promote awareness of sexually transmitted infections and campaigns against harassment, prejudice and violence against women. The kit is planned to debut next Friday, when Corinthians host Ferroviaria at 19:00 at Fazendinha in the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista.

After FC Cascavel, Fernando Diniz's side return to official action on 23 July, hosting Remo at Neo Química Arena at 19:30 in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
