Corinthians draw in Libertadores, Memphis renewal update, and council requests | OneFootball

It was a mixed Wednesday for Corinthians, as the men's side drew 1-1 away to Independiente Santa Fe in the Libertadores, and, in an interview with Deby Todo Dia, football executive Marcelo Paz discussed Memphis' contract renewal.

The Group E fourth-round tie at El Campín finished 1-1, with Gustavo Henrique scoring for Corinthians and Hugo Rodallega for the Colombians.

Paz said Memphis understands that any agreement would require him to accept a reduced salary.

Separately, on Monday associate and former councillor Leandro Cano, a judge, filed two requests to acting Deliberative Council president Leonardo Pantaleão.

He asked for the meeting that approved the 2025 accounts to be annulled and for Fiscal Council members to be investigated over alleged irregularities in their report.
