Corinthians draw Internacional, Memphis contract clarified, and Libertadores plans set | OneFootball

A hectic day for Corinthians brought a domestic cup draw, clarity on Memphis Depay’s contract, and final Libertadores preparations.

According to Meu Timao, Tuesday morning’s draw at CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro paired Corinthians with Internacional in the Copa do Brasil last 16 in 2026.

The club also gained breathing space over Memphis’s contract. Although the Paulista federation system lists his registration until 20 June, his deal with the club runs to 31 July.

Later in the day, the men’s side completed preparations for the final round of the Libertadores group stage. Platense of Argentina visit the Neo Química Arena on Wednesday, 27th, at 21:30.

With Grêmio to come on Saturday, the coaching staff are likely to rest some players for the group finale.
