Corinthians end first half with middling home form at Neo Química Arena this decade

Corinthians reached mid-season with a patchy home record at Neo Química Arena in 2026, below their best showings of the decade despite some key results in front of the Fiel.
According to Meu Timao, the home campaign began on 11 January with a 3-0 win over Ponte Preta in the Paulista. They went on to beat Capivariano, Red Bull Bragantino, Independiente Santa Fe, Vasco, Peñarol, São Paulo, Barra-SC and Atlético-MG, drew with São Paulo, Flamengo and Palmeiras, and lost to Palmeiras, Coritiba, Internacional and Platense.
In total, there were 16 fixtures in Itaquera, split as four in the Paulista, eight in the Brasileirão, three in the Libertadores and one in the Copa do Brasil, returning nine wins, three draws and four defeats, a 62.5% return, with 20 scored and 10 conceded.
That start ranks fourth for the decade over the first 16 home games. It trails 2023 at 66.66% and 2022 at 72.91%, and is well behind 2025, when the side posted 79.16%, recorded 12 wins, two draws and two defeats, and sealed the Paulista against Palmeiras. It sits above 2024 at 58.33% and 2021 at 52.08%.
With the first part of the calendar complete, Fernando Diniz’s squad now pause during the World Cup. The players are due back at CT Joaquim Grava on 24 June, a friendly with Cascavel is set for 12 July at the Estádio Olímpico Regional in Paraná. A return to Itaquera is pencilled in for 22 July, when Remo visit in the Brasileirão.
