Corinthians supporters have voted against extending Carol Nogueira’s deal into 2027, with nearly 90 percent opposed.
According to Meu Timao, 88.5% rejected a renewal while 11.5% favoured extending her contract for 2027.
She is not the only Braba to face fan resistance. Centre-back Agustina and forward Ariel Godoi also drew disapproval, and all three contracts run until 31 December 2026.
17-year-old goalkeeper Ana Morganti received strong backing, with more than 80 percent supporting her stay. Polls on Lelê, Thaís Regina and Vic Albuquerque are due in the coming days.
Nogueira joined Corinthians in late 2022 under Arthur Elias. She has made 69 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists.
This year has been challenging. Of the Brabas’ 21 matches in 2026, she featured in only six, coming off the bench in five. She missed action from August 2025 to March 2026 for personal reasons, then was sidelined again after a left rectus femoris injury diagnosed in April.
Finances may also count against any new deal. With budget constraints, Corinthians have been cautious over renewals and are currently focused on talks with forward Gisela Robledo, whose contract expires in August.
